Having taken into consideration the UK Government & National Governing Bodies advice & having carried out a thorough risk assessment, our Facility is open (with restrictions)

We will operate under normal hours, please click here for opening times.

So how will we operate?

Golf

  • Golf Driving Range & Practice Green are open but with restrictions (please see below)
  • Golf Coaching & Custom Fitting services will be commencing on a limited availability from 01/06/2020
  • Club Repairs & Electronic Trolley services are available but have to be booked by telephone in advance 01179709070
  • Our Golf Retail Shop & Cafe are closed until further notice although it will be used to access the Driving Range as usual
  • Toilets will be able to be used on site but with managed access

Fishing:

  • Open but must be pre-booked by telephone before your visit 07773406315

Archery

  • 29/05/20 Now Open (with restrictions)

Foot/Frisbee Golf

  • 26/05/2020 Now fully Open!

Restrictions:

  • Golf Driving Range & Putting Green

We have carried out a detailed risk assessment of the facility, taking into consideration the UK Govt’s & NGB’s guidelines for maximising safety from transmitting or catching Covid-19.

  • Please expect a queue!
  • Having spent time measuring & understanding how our facility lays out & the location of facilities we have created a one way system in & out of the driving range.
  • Signage is placed together with advice before and during your visit to the range.
  • We ask you to sanitise your hands on the entrance to the facility.
  • We have a limit of 2 people in the shop at any one time & ask you to wait at the 2 metre floor markings when queuing 
  • Please do not approach the counter until asked to do so & ensure you stand on the appointed position for both your and our staff safety.
  • You will not be allowed to share a bay so one person per bay at any one time. However, we would like to support our family groups & we will have bays 1 & 20 for your family to share. It is course is imperative that movement of little ones is controlled
  • Please keep the walkway on the range clear at all times
  • If you need to use the toilet, please exit and wait at the decking area where there is signage & a member of staff will manage your access.
  • Drinks are available takeaway on the driving range only

Update 14/05/2020

We have received positive news regards one-to-one golf coaching from The PGA for facilities currently approved to be open (Golf Clubs) & confirmation also that all Retail shops MUST remain closed until further notice ( with the caveat that shops can be used as a vehicle to booking in for a game etc..)

From an Archery perspective, again positive news that (restricted) Archery can take place ensuring all guidelines and safeguards are in place. We are reacting to this & hope to have a plan & policy in place for Club Members & visitors by next week.

12/05/20 UPDATE

Following the latest updates from the UK Government & advice from our Governing Bodies, we will not be open for Golf, Archery, Footgolf & Disc Golf together with our customer shop & cafe on 13/05/2020. We are continuing to await clarification regards the above activities & hope to give some further clarity tomorrow.

We have been working hard to plan & prepare for our opening with lots of risk assessing, planning & purchasing of relevant materials for us to be able to open in the safest way possible.

However, The Fishing Lakes will be OPEN from 13/05/2020  albeit on a restricted use (PRE-BOOKING ONLY). Please read further below:

Gates open at 7am and close 10pm.

No matches at present

ALL FISHING MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.

If you turn up without booking you will be turned away.

We will not be taking bookings by text or messenger.
Bank payment is preferable we can give details.

We will be taking cash payments but you must have correct money.

Concession fees

  • 1 rod £6
  • 2 rods £8
  • 1 rod £8
  • 2 rods £10

No refunds will be given if you do not give us 24hrs notice of cancellation as it will be too late to re-allocate on the day.

You will only be able to book a maximum of a week in advance to make it fair for other anglers.

No night fishing at present but we are working on a booking system.

Fishery Rules

All lakes:

  • Social distancing must be observed at all times.
  • Dont congregate in carpark.
  • Must have current relevant rod licence
  • No keepnets
  • Swims can be only be shared as long as with member of the same household.
  • Fishing from booked pegs only.
  • Anglers will only be allowed.
  • No cars to be driven around the lakes and must remain in the car park.
  • You must bring own toilet roll and some form of disinfectant spray if you will be using the portatoilet to cut down on mutliple handling.
  • All litter must be taken home
  • Hand sanitizer/ wipes must also be brought with you.
  • Specimen lake now has 1 rod (per person) maximum rule and no carp set ups.

Carp Lake:

  • Must have un-hooking Mat and large enough landing net.
  • No slings or retainers to be used
  • Please follow the rules if you don’t you will be asked to leave.
